Your mission

As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you will support the commercial organization by providing business analysis, reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service, and Retail Operations, you will help drive data-driven decision-making, improve business transparency, optimize planning processes, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and continuously improve sales, forecasting, and business performance reports.
  • Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
  • Analyze sales performance, order intake, order backlog, inventory levels, and stock development, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support business decision-making.
  • Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Service to ensure alignment across functions.
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and contribute to planning accuracy.
  • Maintain high data quality and support master data management activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements in commercial processes, reporting standards, and operational workflows.
  • Support Customer Service with operational topics when required.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the key liaison between ic! berlin, HQ functions, international Sales teams, and Retail Operations, ensuring effective communication and alignment on commercial priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional commercial and brand-related initiatives, including sample management and product flow between ic! berlin HQ and the Retail Channel, ensuring operational excellence and timely execution.

Your profile

  • A university degree is an advantage but not essential. A completed commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification is equally valued.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Controlling, or a comparable role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets, create complex spreadsheets, and develop reports and dashboards.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills.

The compensation package will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant competencies.

The minimum gross annual salary for this position is EUR 45,000.
